Welcome to the Cambuslang Britannia Flute Band website.
Our aim, which we
strive to promote through our music and decorum, is the promotion and
continuance of the LOYALIST, UNIONIST, PROTESTANT cause.
We will always
encourage our members, friends and supporters to HONOUR the CROWN, and be
forever sure and steadfast in their faith in our UNITED KINGDOM of GREAT BRITAIN
and NORTHERN IRELAND.
The Band was formed in 1975 in the village of Cambuslang, just outside
Glasgow, and is proud to have taken part in Parades and Contests throughout
Scotland, England & Ulster. In Britain today we perceive an orchestrated
campaign against Protestants in selected corners of the British Isles. This has
taken the form of both cultural and physical genocide. We would urge Loyalists
not to be lulled into any false sense of security. In the face of injustice,

Due to a change in PHP compliance and an upgrade to the server we host on our
reports from 2007 were held up, we have now rectified this problem and have
started updating the site again, the site remains in construction and has done
for quite sometime, at least until we are happy with most of the areas within
the site.2008 Parade List has started and will
be updated as we look to attend more parades and functions up and down the
Country, also to be added is a report on 2007, our Competition from 2007 which
was actually held in early 2008 after we cancelled to aid in the Chelsea
Dougan fundraising activities held within Scotland.
The Band attended 26 parades/functions last year
which has seen us more than half how many engagements the band attends.

Numerous reports have been added to the website over the course of the year,
we are still very much constructing the website although most of it is
complete.Most recent report was from the
rather excellent annual Apprentice Boys Rally, which you can find via our
Parades page.
We find ourselves close to our own Band parade this
week, which the members of the Band are excited about, we look forward to
hosting our friends from the various Bands that will take part, hopefully
we'll be blessed with some good weather. After the Parade a function
will be held during the evening, all Loyalist friends are welcome.

Welcome to the brand new britanniafb.com! Several changes have been made from
the existing website, with the most notable being the updated Parades list &
Reports and constantly updating picture gallery and Parade Reports section.
Reports and pictures are planned for the 2007 season, the video clips section
should also receive updates throughout the year.
We would like to thank all the bands, the sponsors, and all the people who
attended the Parades and Contests we attended throughout each year.
