Saturday 31st March 2007 - Black Skull Corps of Fide & Drum -
Blood & Thunder Competition, Glasgow
On Saturday we took part in the Black Skull's blood and
thunder competition, the competition was well supported throughout the day and
the Pollokshaws Burgh halls has proved an excellent venue for these type of
events.
We took part with 12 flutes' 4 side drums, bass and cymbals. The competition at
the event was at a high level and while we were not mentioned in the prize list
the Brits received many plaudits from the audience. I felt that the band gave
it's by now expected performance. As always we would like to offer our
congratulations to the various winners.
